How long does it take to get my order?

All of our books are mailed by EXPRESS post to Australian Customers. Depending on your location it usually only takes 1-3 working days once we have confirmed your payment. International Customers can expect a 14-21 day delivery time.

Can I pick up my books and pay no delivery charge?

No. Wicked Words Books is an online based bookstore. We do not allow Pickup of items.

What is a 'Remainder Mark'?

Remaindered books are those returned from retail stores back to the publisher because they were unsold after a period of time. A remaindered book can often by identified by marks, typically a bold black line across the top or bottom of the book's pages, visible when looking at the book from the top or bottom. These books may also have some cover scuffing due to shelf wear and some light page edge tanning(yellowing). All the remaindered books we sell are noted with a condition note in the detail page for that item.

How do I order?

1. Use the quick search or categories to find the book you want.
2. Click the "Add to Basket" or "Buy" button.
3. Repeat from step 1 to add more books.
4. When you are finished press the "View basket" button in the top right hand corner of the screen. This will show you all the items currently in your shopping basket.
5. If you are finished shopping, click "Continue". Confirm your Delivery Address and press continue.
6. The next screen will confirm the postage amount and total amount of your purchases plus postage. Press "Continue".
7. On the next screen confirm your payment method, depending on what method you choose, you will be taken to secure areas to complete your payment or be prompted to print the bank account or money order details. At this stage your purchase is confirmed and you will receive an email confirming your purchase.
8. Once your payment is received we will mail out your books and depending on your location you will recieve them in 1-3 working days.

What are your delivery costs?

Delivery is a flat $7.95 for Express Post per order for orders delivered within Australia. This charge is per-order, there is no per-item and no per-parcel charge. For international deliveries this must be calculated on a weight basis. All books are sent by air mail.

I had a book in my Shopping Cart, but now its gone!

Books are only listed until they are sold, I may have only one copy of a book available for sale and if someone else completes checkout before you they will get the book and it will be removed from your checkout list if this happens.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Paypal, Paymate, Internet Bank Transfer or Direct Deposit, Visa and Mastercard via Paymate and Australian Money Order. International buyers must pay by Paypal or Paymate. All details for payment these ways are displayed during checkout.
